Memory Lane ;
As of this moment, I’m flipping through my “scrap book”.
Or rather a scrap folder. With little bits and pieces of my secondary school life such as class and cca photos, little notes and such. I kinda have to, since I’m trying to apply to SMU (again). Taking a year of rejection isn’t easy, but let’s give them another $15 and try again eh? Apparently they need the ‘O’ Level cert and I keep it in that folder.
Of course, I procrastinated compiling all the needed documents and started flipping through the folder, kinda reliving each moment as I looked at each item. Certainly a sense of nostalgia there as you sit there, just remembering how each and everyone used to be like. All the way from Sec 1 to Sec 4. One of my thoughts were like “HAHA he or she used to look like that! Oh heck I used to look like that.” Then you’ll start rememebering bits and pieces of what they used to be and what they meant to you at that point of time. Among other things, you’ll also start thinking about the choices made then and how everything seems/doesn’t seem to match up at that point of time yet look so trivial now.
Having foreknowledge when you’re young would have been a great thing wouldn’t it?

Get to know yourself better
Your view on yourself:
You are down-to-earth and people like you because you are so straightforward. You are an efficient problem solver because you will listen to both sides of an argument before making a decision that usually appeals to both parties.
The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:
You like serious, smart and determined people. You don’t judge a book by its cover, so good-looking people aren’t necessarily your style. This makes you an attractive person in many people’s eyes.
Your readiness to commit to a relationship:
You prefer to get to know a person very well before deciding whether you will commit to the relationship.
The seriousness of your love:
You are very serious about relationships and aren’t interested in wasting time with people you don’t really like. If you meet the right person, you will fall deeply and beautifully in love.
Your views on education
You may not like to study but you have many practical ideas. You listen to your own instincts and tend to follow your heart, so you will probably end up with an unusual job.
The right job for you:
You’re a practical person and will choose a secure job with a steady income. Knowing what you like to do is important. Find a regular job doing just that and you’ll be set for life.
How do you view success:
Success in your career is not the most important thing in life. You are content with what you have and think that being with someone you love is more than spending all of your precious time just working.
What are you most afraid of:
You are concerned about your image and the way others see you. This means that you try very hard to be accepted by other people. It’s time for you to believe in who you are, not what you wear.
Who is your true self:
You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve.

Rainbow ;
I was having a pretty screwed up day today. Details to not be stated. God knows who or what is reading this and I get charged.
Anyways the weather appeared to be reflecting my mood. It poured.
So anyway there was night’s out tonight, I headed home and spotted this huge crowd at the entrance of the MRT, camera phones out.
Apparently, a rainbow formed. I almost impulsively reached for my mobile before remembering there wasn’t no camera there anymore.
Is this a sign?

Adrian Mole
I’ve found the Adrian Mole diaries I’ve been looking for in the library. I was wondering if I should have purchased them when i saw them in Time a couple of weeks back when my empty wallet reminded me of the situation. Lots of people have not heard about the book which leaves me astounded, since it was like some comprehension passage from the sec 1 & 2 textbooks which was what interested me in the first place. (Of course, people could have been copying answers for the homework)
The books are about this fella, Adrian Mole from aged 13 and 3/4s to from what I know now, 35?. It covers the era of England from the 80’s till now. It even talks about Adrian bitching about Margerat Thatcher in the earlier books to Tony Blair in the last few books. In a nutshell, it talks about his life, which is bad yet lucky for him but he doesn’t appreciate it. Personally I think it would be quite sad if it happens to one of us but lucky in the sense that he gets his big breaks all the time yet doesn’t know it and only realizes it after the chance has passed. (Kinda sounds like the general population)
Summary: Go read it. (If you can find the books. It took me quite a bit of searching)

untitled
There’s gotta be more to life…
Than chasing down every temporary high to satisfy me
Cause the more that I’m…
Tripping out thinking there must be more to life
Well it’s life, but I’m sure… there’s gotta be more
Than wanting more

Mamma Mia
I know the movie came out in September’08. Didn’t manage to catch it since it was out during my 2 weeks confinement or so.
I bought the DVD yesterday evening and spent the morning humming to the tunes of Honey Honey (I like Amanda Seyfried’s version better) and Mamma Mia. The story wasn’t too good though and the highlight would be the songs. Kinda reminds you of Bollywood when suddenly 20 dancers pop out of nowhere and start jumping around.
And when the time has come to start packing again, it’s time to get off the high musical mood I’m in and start dragging my steps to camp.
How you thrill me, aha.

Paranormalities Continued
My house internet was cut because someone didn’t pay the bills on time. Yay.
Nyways, I’m updating in camp – in class. Hurray for the lab lessons that come oh-so-rarely and come with internet access.
The cupboards are still shaking anyhow and the doors are slamming. Kept meĀ up till like 12? Geez. With like 3 tests next week, I’ve no idea how to study for it.

After a week..
So what is it? It’s basically, PT + Heck lots of studying + lots of guard duty.
Sigh.
Oh right. More Paranormalities!
There’s sounds of cupboards shaking at night. Kept us awake till around 2am. See thing is, we swear the sound is coming from one direction – the room next to us. Problem – 1)Room is empty/unoccupied/occupantless (whatever). 2)Room is cupboardless.
Yay.
